Ambulance Memorial

The Objectives of this Web Site

  •
  • To produce an accurate and permanent record of all personnel who have died whilst still in NHS Ambulance employment
  •
  • To maintain public  interest in the only National Ambulance Memorial, sited at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire
  •
  • To keep the Ambulance Garden of Remembrance and the Memorial in good order for future generations to enjoy
  •
  • To hold occasional 'Memorial Re-unions' to which all interested parties can attend
  •
  •  To encourage an on-going interest and platform to honour lost colleagues
  •

Please take time to respectfully browse the 'Roll of Honour' on the following pages and in doing so remember our former colleagues who dedicated their lives to serving others.

(Service names within the 'Roll' are as submitted and vary according to Service name at the time of death)

(Web Site & Research Managers)

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Norman Lakin on 1st February, 2009, who took such pride in the joint creation and up-keep of this Memorial.
